June 5th will be the first of many online events leading to a ‘live show’ in the Fall or early 2021 celebrating Ronny Drayton and his legendary, iconic guitar sound. This celebration of ‘The Draytone Experience'; the music/songs and instrumentals Ronny either wrote or contributed to will be DJ'd by Trevor Gale, curated by Warren McRae & Oscar Brown. They will share music from the heart, soul, mind and fingers of Ronny Drayton. Ronny's contribution to music is vast, it is a catalogue we'll explore and try to explain the genius embodied in one musician. Jamaica, Queens born and bred and globally praised for his one of a kind sound, style and rhythm Ronny Drayton was unique. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix (Ronny was also a leftie upside down guitarist) and other musical giants, his passion for Rock, Funk and rhythm propelled his guitar playing into that realm.
