About Shawn Pomeroy
Shawn Pomeroy is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and music producer born 1976 in Victoria, BC Canada. He describes his music as a mix of Coldplay and Radiohead and has been influenced by bands such as; Ed Sheeran, (expired link), Pearl Jam, Pink and Nirvana.
Early in his music carrer this artist was assigned the role of lead singer in a number of Pop/Rock bands, while also performing as a solo act at countless open mics, cafes and bars. In 2003 he recorded his first (live) (expired link) "Off the Floor". In 2005 he wrote, recorded and produced a second (expired link) titled "In the Absence of Panic".
Pomeroy caught a break in the summer of 2020 when top ten hit producer Steve Kroeger agreed to produce three of his original songs, which include the singles Occupied(studio version), Eraser, and Cover-up.
His somber, melodic tunes are accompanied by clever lyrics and well-placed hooks, a combination sure to land him a spot on the next top 40 hit list. At present, Pomeroy is an independent artist with hopes to find management or a record label who will allow him to tour and concentrate on writing music.
He shows no sign of slowing down in the future, his fans looking forward to his new single "Abstact Affair" and his cover of Concrete Blondes "Joey", which are set to be recorded and released fall of 2021.
