"It is such a welcoming relief to know that in all that we may experience in this life, we have “the GOD of Another Chance.” We hear that and don’t give it much thought; however it has great significance to the believer as well as the unbeliever. The GOD that created Man & Woman is the same GOD that takes away all guilt and stain; HE makes you new again; HE is the GOD of another chance, and it is granted without a 2nd glance. The world would crucify you because it deems you unworthy…but GOD…takes you as you are and makes all things new. Because of HIS unconditional and unfailing love…HE redeemed the world on Calvary …dying once for ALL.

Also for some reason...my N1M account hasn't been cooperating when it comes to recommending music on Twitter.(Any advice would be helpful). None the less...the new single "No Turning Back" will be available sometime this coming week beginning Feb. 24, 2020. it's an uptempo remix of "I Have Decided To Follow Jesus". The Song “Salt Of The Earth” was written as a tribute my Grandfather(Mr. Wille Mitchell of Alexandria, La.)…The Patriarch of our family. Daddee…as we so lovingly called him, answered God’s call to come home in July of 2018. He live to be 103 and he was truly The Salt Of The Earth & a BIG LIGHT in the World(at least to The Mitchell Family anyway). His favorite passage in the Bible came from Matt.5: 13-16...."You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven".... He lived that to the fullest and made sure to tell the world about Jesus. Inspired by his life and reflecting on that passage of scripture…God drop the melody to that song into my spirit and the words began to flow…
“You Are The Light Of The World A City On A Mountain Top For All The World To See Your Good Deeds And They Will Glorify Your Heavenly Father. As we navigate this life living for God in a world that definitely can be challenging at times, let us remember to let the Light of Christ shine in and through us. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us to be the difference…the change in this world. Spread the Love of God to any and all we meet(as my Grandfather often did to so many) For we are fishers of men, winning souls to Christ…for the advancement of the Kingdom Of God.

Singer, Songwriter/Producer and Aspiring Gospel Artist…Sherrell Mitchell is a Louisiana Native, a Father Of 2 and a Military Vet...but above all...A Lover Of God. He developed a passion for music at an early age in Church and taught himself to play the piano by ear. Since then he’s grown musically through private lessons, college classes, great mentors & some main artistic influences to name a few (Vivian Perryman, Darryl Hawk, Kay Classy, Phil Curry, Cora Jackson, Chick Corea, Neal Jones, Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, Walter Hawkins, & Grady Austin)

He has also worked with other local ministries and choirs in the area…”The Matt Talbot Center”, “Cora Jackson & Judah Song”, “The Gospel Music Workshop Washington Chapter”…as well as his own ensemble of singers “The JLM Worshipers” and The Gospel Truth Choir at Immaculate. In 2016, he released 2 CD’s, “The JLM Project” and “The Mass Of New Vision.” He has also released several singles since then “Salt Of The Earth”, "Hear O’ Israel, “I Believe” , “No Turning Back”, “I Belong To You”, “God Of Another Chance” and the latest being “I Am Free”….Rell continues to write the melodies he hears from The Lord. Ultimately, praise music from him rings true to the Soul
