Jeremy Strickland is now, always was, and always will be Shiny Red Nothing. Born of woman and guitar on a hilltop in Kentucky, originally Florida, Strickland was the founder and driving force of the band the Minni-Thins, who played many a music festival, large and small, and won awards that you’ve never heard of. Strickland’s latest project, the arts and music collective Shiny Red Nothing, is 85% Jeremy and 15% (or so, it doesn’t lend itself well to percentages) a group of collaborators. “Everyone’s in the band, even if they don’t know it yet,” says Strickland.
