We’re delighted to announce that a new album by Showdown Boulevard will be released during 2017, and BBHells Records will be engaged in promoting it and distribute it worldwide. This is the statement by Andy Pontremoli (bass-player and founder of the band): “Dear friends, first of all with these few lines I would like to publicly thank Manguss for the years spent in Showdown Boulevard. It was an honor and a privilege to play with him, sharing the realization of two albums. Since several months, however, his live performances in the US prevents him to have enough time for a common project. Anyway I will always be grateful to him for turning my ideas into what fortunately, for many of you, have become great rock songs, and I will always keep an open door for a possible new project to carry out together, following the “more experimental ideas” we were starting to write together. Now the Showdown Boulevard’s life must go on. For some time I have the fortune to have started a creative journey with very good musicians. They are bringing a lot of new energy se we thought, together, to turn this couple of ideas into a new Boulevard’s album. So it’s with pleasure that we announce that our next album will be released in 2017 (hopefully by the summer) and that it will involve the following line-up: Giorgio De Clementi – vocals Daniele Moneta – guitars Andy Pontremoli – bass Francesco Corato – drums The new album will be released by BBHells Records with whom we are working since the re-edition of “Face The Challenge”.
