Shuggie Rocks is a vocal wizard, a crafty storyteller, a crossover king and a master of melodies that sparks instant parties or provokes quiet reflection – in perfect doses and often on the same record.

A double-edged sword, Shuggie Rocks can sing and put on rap in multiple styles. He was influenced by Reggae, Dancehall and Hip Hop Music growing up with the likes of Lucky Dube, Zola 7, Jozi, and Pro Kid being his favourite artists. In 2009 he found himself falling in love with hip hop and rap music. In 2013 he started writing, performing and creating his own music in the genre known as Epic Music and Pop-Rap.

Signed under his own Record Label Siphambi Communications, he has released four singles and is currently working on his album. He has been privileged to share stage with other big names like Zakwe, Kwesta, Cassper Nyovest, Ricky Rick, Fifi Cooper and Emtee to name a few. He has also been blessed to work with Feelo(Austria) and Sean Brown(Jamaica).

He has managed to transform the name that is associated with his vibes to being a cool name that is lighting up the entertainment industry in South Africa and the world
