About Silence

Silence was born September 23 rd 1977 and to the 8 year-old age he draws near to the world of the music learning to play the guitar.

He immediately starts later to play the electronic keyboard and to listen to the great composers of electronic music as (expired link), Vangelis, Alan Parsons..

he starts to improve himself in the composition of electronic music and soundtracks, drawing benefit from him "teachings" of the listening of the music of his "teachers."

In 2000 he decides to enroll in (expired link) to make public his works and, in 2001, he is rewarded for the best theatrical soundtrack within the awarding "Torre d'Argento" held in Sicily.

In the last years it becomes some his own jobs producing and publishes the project "Shared Emotions".

He knows Christian Stefanoni and with him, with the name O-Zone, compose and produce the single "Planet of Silence".

Some jobs are published in some compilations of the Fluida Records and the Gluon Music.

He composes the soundtrack of the documentary "Veniero", that tells the history of the submergible homonym which the wreckage is found in the seas before Porto Palo (Sicily)

In 2009 he composes the original soundtrack of the film "Come Marionette", the second episode of the cases of the "Commissario Valenti" created by Mario Bruno.

Public on iTunes the project "Shared Emotions" and contemporarily to the publication of "Sound of Electronic", in 2009, the Azzurra Music publishes the album "Silence plays Jean Michel Jarre", available on CD, on iTunes and on the various musical portals on internet.

In 2010 Silence public VENIERO digital album, 9 tracks that were the soundtrack to the unforgettable documentary that tells the story of the Royal Submarine "Sebastiano Veniero."

Also in 2010, "Silence plays Jarre" is distributed digitally and simultaneously the project "Sound of Elecronic", a collection of songs purely electronic sounds with industrial and experimental.

The year 2011 saw the birth of one of the finest works of the digital age: "La Carezza di una Nuvola " which was released in digital and physical CD, Album of a certain caliber artistic output thanks to the collaboration of guitarist Stephen Locri (Mad Vintage Rock) and maximum Lafronte. To enrich the project was enough for the hand of the painter Carmen Gravagna, who produced the album cover. The year ends with the live Veniero held at the Officers' Club of the Navy Augusta (SR).

The 2012 starts an artistic collaboration with Vince McStross, great guitarist from Catania, with whom he played the live Shared Emotions incorporated into the show organized by the "Medici in Vena" Catania was held January 4 at the Metropolitan Theater and July 15 Platamone at the Palace, where the proceeds were donated respectively by the Association ONLUS "(expired link) and Telethon.

2013 saw the birth of "Chaos"! An album containing 12 tracks of electronic music and classical style fused dall'imparagonabile of Silence. The construction of the cover-art of Chaos was the hand of the talented katiusca Wholesale. Also: "September", an EP containing 4 versions eponymous dance track digital artist!

2014 begins with a single photoManiac, the first project elettrodubstep Silence! The cover art was created by the photographer and artist Federica Loi.

June 10, 2015 : " born " on the iTunes album " Where are You ? " , The electronic project of Silence contains sound " glitch " , and EDM Prog Rock in 12 captive tracks that allow you to travel in a surreal fantasy world enriched by ' visual art created by talented Monia Foderà who made the cover- art inspired by the notes of Silence .

February 27, 2016 : Silence to Reload Music Festival , the musical event in Turin, which has reached an audience of over 10,000 people ! Silence , along with Christian Art J Stefanoni , gave birth to the shows " Angels & Demons " on the Main Stage and Stage Live as well , solo , to his " Electronic Loud Set" , derived from the project " Sound of Electronic " presented on Live Stage of the prestigious music festival focused on electronic music .

May 20, 2016 : On the occasion of the program of the States General of Culture of Reggio Calabria , Silence was the guest of the Provincial Planetarium " Pythagoras " in Reggio Calabria where he presented on electronic project "Behind the Stars”

September 23, 2016: Silence produces and publishes electronic suites "Behind the Stars"! The suite is divided into 5 parts, it was enriched by the remix produced by Christian Art J Stefanoni and artist electronic Vivi Pedraglio!

December 15, 2016: within the cultural event "Festa del VideoClip”, festival dedicated to independent artists, conceived and directed with passion and dedication by Francesca Piggianelli, held at the Apollo 11 in Rome, with the participation of artists from national and international, it was awarded the prize "EscaMontage short" the video "Memories of a Blade" (directed by Rosario Garreffa). With this recognition, the movie will be screened during the Escamontage Itinerant Film Festival 2017.

December 21, 2016: The second exciting Live Behind the Star held the Plantetario Pythagoras of Reggio Calabria in the occurrence of the Winter solstice.

February 8, 2017: In world-wide distribution, it is made available on (expired link) "Behind the Stars" on CD.
