You will notice some influence from the 2500s which were quite poppy mush. And the obvious ath-religio time of the space-time noumenals.

we hope you are enjoying the tracks from Sonic Explorations our latest album. We have 4 more tracks to add that are all have vocals (hence the delay!). We will also have a vocal version of 'Our anthem in 12" of dance blood'.

Thank you all for bearing with us while we have tried a collaborative project.
We begin, again...'Sonic Explorations' is our new promised venture. It is inspired by the festival at Schiphorst and the photographs taken by Ian Land (who has kindly supplied the cover of our other work in progress). Sonic explorations is more experimental, more ambient, but will have, in time, some song structures too.
We hope you find the peace and love found in this first track. Perhaps, you will never forget it....perhaps you, too, are on temple grounds.

thank you for listening to our music. We have completed our project 'with' Faust and decided to risk putting it out there. Hopefully, it does not disrespect the legend of Faust. We apologise if you think this.

We will load the most popular on N1M to make sure everyone has easy access. First, we'd like to see if it really works. Faust are more avant grade and wilder than Sinefrage, so lets see...if it is a marriage made in heaven or hell!

Welcome to 2015 and thank you for listening to Sinefrage! We are pleased to say that we have the opportunity of adding to Faust's new 'collaborative' album that they have released called 'Just Us'. Faust have, as always, provided an innovative album that allows for additional instruments and vocals to their wonderful work. This was too good an opportunity to refuse and Sinefrage have put their own projects on hold to try to add to the legend that is Faust!
Sinefrage expect that they will complete in the next few weeks and will then get back to finalising their own projects: Sonic Explorations and From t/here. A promise is a promise to be kept!

Sinefrage are working on two pieces. One has taken inspiration from Ian Land's photo of the drum kit from the Schiphost festival. This will be called 'From t/here'.
Another piece they are working on is experimenting with new musical technologies and will be called 'Sonic Explorations'.
The band are aware that music is now streamed into tracks and they would like you to know that they think of their work as being of three forms: song structured pieces; ambient/experimental; and more orchestral /choral leaning pieces.
Whatever they think or do - the music only lives because you listen - so, thank you!

About Sinefrage
Sinefrage play slipstream music which takes any influence and bends it toward their key influences in krautrock. So you can hear elements of rock, industrial, experimental, and even classical. This is Sinefrage have moved their origins to East Germany around the 1970s. This makes them not only more interesting but is true to their influences and politics which they give as a utopian vision of a fair and just society.
Sinefrage are currently releasing music in their previous incarnation 'The Puget Sound' on Bandcamp (available later on this year). This is music from the 1980s when the band moved to the North West of England to pretend they had lived there all of their life. The project failed and they returned to their mythical origins.
Members of Sinefrage have included Limbus, Hinten, Robbes-Grillet. A jazz drummer called Paul and a one time gig with a jazz saxophonist.
The band did subscribe in their teenage years to a cosmic myth that follows the Sun God, Bol Dook, who is said to be incarnated in dog form (up to now that is) and has a close familiar in the form of a rabbit, Dez Muda, who is very vicious (no witnesses survive). One day it is prophesied - probably by Pal A Din - an earlier incarnation of Bol himself - that Bol Dook will leave us to our own devices and the music will stop. Until that day, listen and perform as much music as you can as it is music that keeps the cosmic spheres spinning! There are no references to these myths in Sinefrage whose members are no longer religious. If anybody wants any sacred texts please request them.
