Sis Chambers has a strong solid vocal. Her pitch is excellent. The theme of the song is wonderful. It's good to remember God's blessings and share that with others! I'm personally not a fan of the Hammond B3 and trumpet sound, but her instrumentalist(s) do a nice job. The quality of the recording is very good. This is not a bedroom recording. The only down side is the length, it's a little long, but other than that . . Great job Sis Chambers!!

I was drawn in by your emotional connection to the lyrics and didn't feel you were just singing but that you were testifying to your experience which made me break out into worship because this is how I feel, “The Lord has been good to me”. This song comes out with gusto and plenty of power! Nice sound - it has a nice down home gospel flavor to it... The organ really takes one right into the church - that's a wonderful beginning. The vocals are strong and fit the song's soulful sound. The lyrics are simple, but very uplifting and makes you want to get up and start singing along... The line - He's blessed me once, and He's blessed me twice - are as good as it gets. The rhythm sways and the band is cooking up something good as the song moves along. The guitar licks sprinkled in are a sweet touch, and lets you know these musicians are able to play with the big boys... This song sounds like a live recording in a revival service that most Christians have been to somewhere - sometime. That being said, I have to say this song rocks! Pure praise with great vocals! The vocals are sung with lots of emotion and power and carry the song all the way to the end. I love this song! The only thing I would change is having the guitar show up with a little more volume, and especially on the end of some of the lines of verse... having the organ share more with the guitar would have made this song even better. Overall, this song is fantastic, and it really takes the listener right into the church sanctuary - it comes across as a live recording - you can almost picture yourself right there as the band is playing.
