Nice lead in. Nice vocal. I would have brought the voice up about one more notch. Very clean mix. Great telling of the story.

Those of you who are not familiar with Turtle Mountain(which was named by a rancher who said it was shaped like a turtle)is in Alberta,Canada.In 1903 a gigantic landslide engulfed a town killing many people.It was a tragedy some of the bodies were never recovered.This song is a good example of telling a story through the emotion of the music. Folk music is basically passing history down through music. This was arranged well from the calm of the acoustic guitar from the beginning to the rumble of the drums at the climax of the story. That's what music is suppose to do grab you.

This song has a great intro melody! The drum build ups are unnecessary, you could do better. Something more epic, the sound and tone is so good, Great singer, He nails it, the musical arrangements is great! The Double kick sounds kinda off, it needs to sound tight to give the power this song needs, drums in this song drive this song! This song has potential. I could jam this song alot! Keep this up, the drums are the only weak part! You guys have something solid!

The band is aamazing and the singer has a strong voice. The producer could've tuned the reverb a bit to really get the fullness of the lead singer. The lyrics are great and capture your ear

This is an amazing song with intricate lyrics and song arrangement plus transition is crisp and decisive. Great vocal styling, the drummer is exciting and seasoned with his technique.The overall song has a great power ballad feel without the sappy lyrics. A plus fellas keep up the great work sonically tight production and band! Would look for this bands music to purchase for collection.

It's a good song to listen while driving or in your bed thinking about life. The melody is very well constructed and the singer has a pleasant and original voice timber. The guitar riffs are very strong aswell as the drums. The bass line kept up with the strength of the song. The end is a little bit strange though. I thought it was too sudden.

Nice work. You had my attention all the way. The bass deum or low toms seemed to be a little over the top at first but it grew on me as the tune progressed. I hope you remix with the vocals a little more up front. I had to work to hear the lyric. Yoou can still get that distant/delay sound and let us hear the story. Have you submitted this for a movie? I think this is a very nice song. I dig the voice. The guitar is great! Melody is pleasing. Not to much going on yet progressive. The breakdown drums are hard! I'd ride around listening to this song. I'm a fan.

Very good song. A strongest guitar and the vocals well sang. I appreciate the drums. Maybe he should as little more "slow" in the calm parts of the song. Like the song. Nice bluesy acoustic guitar and vocal. Good tension and dynamic build up. Like the bridge. Not sure the overly excitable drums are necessary, but maybe that's just me. Overall, great effort. Good luck.
