Smart, gritty & bent--"CradleRock" will be jubilantly hilarious to anyone who has been frustrated to tears, by what has been a relentless beating of the dead horse that has been popular music for the past couple of decades (as even genres become progressively and sadly less distinct). With even many of the "alternative" sounds today seeming spun-off and sterile, this is a wonderful steaming turd, dropped amidst a putrid pile of polished plastic.
