In the early days of his career, he performed with such reggae notables as Benjy Myaz, Freddie McGregor, Dennis Brown and close friend, Jacob “The Killer” Miller and world renown steel pan maestro, Cabot Paul. During the eighties, when reggae broke internationally – Smokey as a founding member of “One Love Jamaica” brought reggae and the culture throughout Europe. He has entertained audiences aboard various cruise lines in the Caribbean and performed at numerous mega-resorts from Aruba to Las Vegas. ..

In early 2007, Smokey introduced his unique style to the Jersey Shore with his One Man Reggae Calypso Show. He can be seen at any number of places along the shore, between Atlantic City and Asbury Park. New York City is the latest to experience the excitement.
