This reminds me of Donell Jones type style. I like the beat choice here. I can say that the mix could've been a little cleaner. But it wasn't that bad. The lyrics were clear, but I wasn't really blown away from what was being expressed. Seems like a definitely song for the ladies to get all in their feels. Great job there. I was pleasantly surprised by this track. It is a great example of a fusion that is comprised of R&B and Rap. I consider this the, "Now School". The beat is smooth and easy going. The Vocals and lyrics are a perfect match to the beat. This is a nice song, to vibe too. The production is well done, I say, give it up to the gents from Houston. The song is nice but there was a couple rough places that need to be cleaned up the message was good but could use a little more ablibs. Sounds like you may be recording yourself? Try putting a separate eq on your vocals on the high and low end to make your vocals thicker.
