The founding Member of Soldiers of Rock started playing guitar at the age of 12, mainly because his parents bought him the Beatles "Live at Shea Stadium" on vhs!! After that he started discovering heavy metal bands like: Black Sabbath, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Ronnie James Dio, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin. That was his soundtrack for adolesence. He only took lessons for 1 1/2 years because he was bored of learning "by the book". He then decided to start learning by ear all his favorite rock and metal tunes. It proved to be more effective. He played in a few garage bands in high school and college. Started his 1st band at 19. From that point, he played with many musicians in different bands. He then came to the conclusion that no one shared the same vision, so he started Souls of Rebellion in 2009. Finally, he met the current guys and they are forging ahead into 2018. Having played many shows in his life on many stages, Dan is proud and content today of all his accomplishments. The fun has just begun!!
