I was walking down the river in my hometown of Oxford England
when out of my peripheral vision
I saw a spacecraft coming over the trees.
It lowered into the field adjacent, and as it did I saw her face.
She was colour coordinated with her craft; Yellow hair, yellow jumpsuit, yellow spacecraft.
She turned her head to look me in the eye.
I thought…..She's so beautiful she must be telepathic….So I tried.
I thought…..if I just say “hello”, then she’ll say “hello”
&, maybe disappear.
So I thought if I asked her to manoeuvre her craft somehow
That would be double conformation.
So I was thinking about asking her to see her crafts’ underside.
But as I started she interrupted me.
And I heard her beautiful voice in my head saying……”you mean this”.
She tilted her spacecraft to reveal the underside,
and the made the 16 consonants dance around in a mexican wave
Of cyber-neon blue light.
And I thought….Wow! These aliens are real fun!
She righted her craft, and started off across the field.
The craft passed behind the trees
at the end of the field,
And she was gone.
