Sonique is formed in 2003, it has played since then in different clubs in Bogota, performing different genres, varying from Funk, Reggae, Alternative Rock and Electronic music. Sonique got together in 2003, it has played since then in different clubs in Bogota, performing covers of different genres, varying from Funk, Reggae, Alternative Rock and Electronic music. It counts with experimented musicians such as Luis Fernando Rios, on drums, samples and sequences, who is also sound engineer for the band. Hernando Forero, on guitar, who has played with other local (expired link) Gomez, Keyboardist, the only non professional musician on the band, who also plays the bass on Keyboards. More recently Andrea Arevalo enters as vocalist, with a versatile voice, that fits perfectly in the different genres performed by the band, giving it a touch that distinguishes it from other similar bands. This year the band is preparing their work: "The Orlando Virtuoso Sessions" made up of 12 tracks of original material, with an electronic sound, based on the concept of concrete music from the 50s and 60s, modifying prerecorded sounds through electronic filters and combining it with the performance of live instruments, typical from a rock band.
