S.O.T. The Fam (Stay On Top) was born (2007) between two cousins, (Just Nova & Ya.Boi.Roc) but really became solid when the 3rd cousin (1ofahkind) officially became apart of this new Foundation and soon to be a well organized Family Based Organization straight out of Detroit, Michigan. After a while family and friends could not help but to notice us as we followed our Dreams by preforming at different events and shortly after meeting a producer by the name of (X-Ray) which allowed us to hit up the studio. Due to the excitement of our Oldest cousin/SpadesUP General (B Smoove) and his sister (LaDontai Harris) the Spade Logo was used as a Family Crest for the movement representing ''Family takes presidents over Everything''. Soon after the rest of the brothers, cousins, aunties etc. And friends of the family followed suit. Which then started to establish a community of motivators that believes in the motive of achieving success no matter how hard or difficult a task may be. As a family we all believe that patience and dedication is most important elements in accomplishing the desires of mankind. We have a metaphor for our Family Chest which is a ''Spade'' meaning perseverance. In order to remain the last one standing, you must understand that you have to go through trails and tribulations first. Once that is done you will appreciate your success and not take it for granted. That is the main objective of S.O.T. Is to ensure that the world understands how important it is to remain humble.
