Southern Misconduct was originally started as a solo project by Teddy Senft under the name of Fragile in September of 2012. Upon finishing a full-length album Teddy inquired the help of Chris Cozzi, Frankie Cilella, and Ian Snow then changed the name to Southern Misconduct in mid February 2013. After gaining some local popularity the band fell to some internal turmoils, leading to the exit of Frankie then addition of the artist formally known as Pretzel (Jon Senft), Teddy's younger brother. The band began gigging yet again, but more internal turmoil led to the exit of Ian and Chris. This led Teddy and Jon to call up an old time friend, Tyler Cabrera, who has been in a high school band with the brothers. With this final addition, the band has been soaring to new heights and becoming more of the band the people need in this day of musical turmoil.
