About South Oval
South Oval started as a band in Hamilton, ON in 2004 and performed all around the "Golden Horseshoe" in Southern Ontario. In 2005, South Oval released a six song album titled ‘Sane In Insane Places’. In 2007, South Oval went on an extended hiatus. Now the members of South Oval have returned to writing and producing the music they love and share it with listeners again.

Dear Fellow Listeners,
We've decided to freshen a few songs up by adding to 2 new songs for your listening pleasure. We have a lot of songs in the works at various stages of production, but felt it was time to freshen it up once again. We have also been adding songs to YouTube as well in case you want more variety.

On YouTube you can find our initial album titled "Sane in Insane Places" as well as some newer releases, including a song called "Stephanie's Song" written and recorded in 2 weeks for my sister-in-law for her birthday just a few weeks ago.
Additionally, I was on a podcast called 'Have You Ever' hosted by Michael Nielsen talking about music and how we started as well about some basic music production. It can be found on all the podcast sites and it's a great podcast I recommend considering subscribing to. Here's a link to the podcast:
