If you’re a fan of concept tracks and, more specifically, songs about being in a parallel universe, ‘The Great Attractor’ from Norwegian fuzzy rockers Space Electric is likely to be something you need to know about.
With such an interesting subject matter, it’s little wonder the focus is mainly pulled by Mikkelsen’s vocals, but after a couple of listens it really hits home how much of an all-round strong band Space Electric are.
Looking past the energetic vocals you have some almost grunge-esque riffs laced over a groovey bass and drums. This is a fun track that feels like it would be given a whole new life when we’re able to go out and enjoy it live again. Dan Hemming - Mind Noise Network -16 July 2020.
