I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. View from this amateur: just a little Variaudio or Autotune needed in the beginning on the vocal. Maybe a slower buildup to a more dense arrangement could improve the song. The piano begining is very recognizable...do not know if I like the flute....It feels you are going loose very soon in the song...then repetition has less impact at the end of the song (do not forget, I cannot sing, I cannot play, it's just my opinion...).....sticking to the essence of the song will make it stronger, less vocal repetitions of the same, and maybe an instrumental climax at the end instead of a vocal repeat...structure of the song...(you may torment my song as well ;-)

Nice track. I’m hearing bigger guitars, bigger drums … massive rock classic sound. Love the BVox; nice arrangement. Tighter vocal, especially in the intro verses; perhaps a tad of pitch correction if it doesn’t offend to vocalist. Not a bad job. All the best with it

"After the Rain" by Speed Wheeler Music has a nice piano intro that makes me interested in hearing more. The female lead vocal is passionate enough, and the melody is sophisticated and difficult to sing, so extra points for that. The backing vocals are well-blended and tasteful. The synthetic strings float along with the melody, and do a nice job of building and easing the energy. Nice dynamics! There is a flute-like lead instrument played well also, adding some texture to the sound. Not sure it's the right texture for the mood of this song, though. It's kind of light-hearted, where the lyrics are yearning and conflicted. On the down side, there are a couple of issues for me as a listener. One is that the lead vocal has pitch problems at certain points in the song. The first place I notice it as a listener is in the first verse, on the phrase "deep in my eyes." The second place is at the start of verse 2, on the phrase "all thru the night", especially on the word "all." Another place is on the phrase "after the sorrow fades". Not trying to provide a complete catalog here, just a few examples. The only other issue I have with the song is that it goes on a bit too long, especially at the end. 5:50 is a long time to hold the listener's attention, unless you are constantly surprising the ear with unexpected twists. All that said, I enjoyed listening to this music, and would be interested in hearing more by the same artist.

Versatile transitions forcing the music constantly on a higher level. Rhonda has a unique dynamic voice and a brilliant vocal projection making this wonderful recording complete. Imaginative and touching lyrics making the meaning of the song engaging for me. This song is very good mixed and all instruments are extremely good played from versatile musicians. Speed Wheeler Music "After The Rain" (Featuring Rhonda Black Smith) Just when I think I have speed wheeler music figured out as a techno duo with Orin taking the lead and Lance doing the occational break song they release after the rain. The vocals of Rhonda Black smith are certainly quality and strong on this pop ballad track. And I found it more enjoyable to listen to then what is currently being pumped through my local retail shops. I'll have to say however what is being put through my local shops seems to be a contest for cringe. This song would better the list. When I think of good pop songs on the radio I think of songs from the 60s-late 80s sometimes 90s. To upgrade this song to those standards one would have to beef up the verse a little maybe cut the chorus just a little and length of song but the vocalist is worth it. The song has it's places as it is. Worth a listen.
