About Spinning Sparks

Portuguese Rock Band, formed in 1997 by José Janeiro (Vocals/Guitar), Lex (guitar), Rota (Bass) and Brito (drums). It played with it's original formation 'til 2001, and recorded 3 demos. The band played mainly in festival's and often in some pub's. The original formation split in 2001, and got another formation only with it's original vocals/guitar with another demo recording in 2002. In 2004 comes the first hiato of the band, which endend in 2009 with the return for a one live performance with a newly formation, only with the remaning vocals/guitar from the original lineup. The second hiato ended in 2013 where, with a new formation and the return of original drumer, the band opened for Skunk Anansie in a major portuguese festival. In 2013/2014 the band still played and made concerts. A third hiato ended in 2017, the band now as new formation and is willing to keep making music and live performances. A new EP was recorded at the end of 2018. The band continues making music...
