About Spiritual Dawn
We are 'Spiritual Dawn', a new retro synthpop/synthrock duo from Darlington in the North-East of England.
We comprise of 2 members, firstly Anita Bainbridge on lead vocals and then Oliver Smith on synthesizer and backing vocals. We met in Darlington in 2009 whilst part of another band and hooked up again in 2014 to form this new duo.
We are essentially a synthpop duo, our sound is very much alongside 80s bands such as Depeche Mode, a-ha, Pet Shop Boys and Madonna. We write our own songs and have amassed over 100 demos which we are looking forward to working on in time and sharing with you.
Available to listen to now is our first single ‘Dying In Your Arms’.
Our aim is to reach out to those people and find those who are still in love with synthpop music and are always on the lookout for new electronic gems to listen to. We like our music to be mostly dark, sometimes bright, sometimes soft, we like to fill our songs with energy and drama, and write poetic truthful lyrics. Come and have a listen...
