Idaho Springtime...
it's comin'...I heard it in the birds' songs this morning...still cold enough to stiffen my talk & speed my walk but...spring is comin'. I live in this ideal area of Idaho where I'm an hour from the pines, an hour from the desert, water all around (even in drought years)...OK maybe cold winters but not too long & summers are reasonable and heat is bearable...in this bowl where storms of concern bump into protective mountains an most all sides...OK there are those pesky earthquakes but I just hang on tight. I'm still backing my CD with local gigs and assisted living performances & as long as folks enjoy my "Smile" I'll keep pickin' n'playin' 'til I fall over n'can't get up again...then I'll be retired!
