This song moves well from an insightful start to a strong feeling of angst. The instruments are very well played and the vocalist is strong and in tune. My only criticism would be in the mix (hopefully it's not my headphones when I say this), the instruments are well placed in the mix except for the percussion which tends to dominate the tracks a bit too much. This could be fixed with an EQ and compression adjustment. Overall I like the lyrics and the song in general.

From what I could perceive when listening to the music there is a whole concern in making a letter consistent and well structured, avoiding mannerisms. This together with the harmonics and soft beats bring to the music the ability to be a song of high load and complexity. Artistically I see something of a high quality and that was well mixed. There is no overexposure or metric change, no BPM errors, even if there are constant rhythmic changes in the song, this is difficult when you do not have a constant beat or normal harmony, doing something Stage 11 did is bold and beautiful. Because any small mistake would be impossible to correct, because it has no elements of camouflage, surely this song is ready to play everywhere. The well-crafted lyrics and the harmony that grows with the music make everything work in a presentable and elegant way.

Very very amusing vibes. Sound very Mexican style to me, could stay that way till the end. Song writing as far as I can tell is very well made. The performance as well as the production is awesome. No detail that could bother negative, instead the whole song drives to more heights with cinematic images of western deserts and sundowners floating through my head. A nice intro with a guitar playing Spanish scales, the arrangement add a xylophone to the mix picking up speed this continues to build with each passing part. The singer switches to English and really begins to belt out the tune. This song is a slow climb that gets more intense as each part of the arrangement goes by until it really jams. There is only one flaw i can find and that's when the xylophone first enters the song. There are conflicts between it and the drums not quite lining up like I would like to hear however they do work together and mesh perfectly later on.

Another killer track from LA's Stage 11 performed in both Spanish and English. Beautifully performed with all the magic and mystery of the Spanish language and the direct emotive force of the English language. The track opens with a lone Spanish guitar and builds with drums and what sound like marimba ? The Spanish fades out to English. Melodic and with a superb offbeat Spanish rhythm the track builds culminating in hand claps augmenting the drums and a screaming lead guitar solo to take the track to its climax. Stage 11 really are a great band and definitely my favorite on this website check them out on the website or even better live when you are next in California.

One thing that's typically missing in most music I hear is the build and climax and you f-ing nailed it. Captivating lyrics, musical surprises, great vocals with harmonies, and passion (instuments and vocals). I have no complaints. Your music is beautiful. Please keep writing.

The simple intro and Spanish intro sound like something you'd hear in the background of a Hollywood movie summer block buster. Then we start to get the other instruments which gently combine into a well orchestrated and well produced song. This is categorized as rock or indie rock, I'm not sure that's the right fit, but I'll give it to you. I do like the singer, though once he breaks out into English his vocals are so crisp on a song that almost needs them "muddied" a bit (which I normally hate), but it's so well done it almost needs to be taken down a notch. I'd listen to this song on a road trip and would enjoy seeing you play live.
