Hello all our patient Bystanders, we hope you are all safe and doing well in these challenging times. Standby is currently recording new material for our next album. We have obviously faced difficulties since we cannot practice or record together but we're all doing our part remotely and will hopefully be able to mix all the music before year's end. We look forward to the day we can get back out on the road and bring our music to you in a live venue. All the best, Standby

Hello fans, sorry things have been quiet for a while. Finishing up college for a few of us, but we'll be back soon, with live shows throughout New England, New York and New Jersey this spring and summer and more new music before years' end. Thanks for following us and hope to see you at a future gig.

Hello all, Standby is pleased to announce the upcoming release of their EP "The New Space" The EP will contain reworked and remastered versions of songs from our first EP, along with a couple of new songs. Keep an eye out for updates and we invite you all to attend one of the album release show; August 12 Hamden, CT at The Space, August 15th Danbury CT at The Heirloom Arts Theater and August 16th at O'Brien's Pub in Boston.

Hello all, sorry that we've been away. We're all doing the college-thing, but will be home soon. Look for some new music shortly. We'll also be playing at the renowned Montauk Music Festival, beginning May 15th, returning to An Beal Bocht in Riverdale NY on April 18th and performing at the Fresh Air Music Fest in New Windsor NY on June 14th.

For local fans, our next live show will be Sunday, February 23rd as we return to play the Danbury Chili Cook-off at the Danbury Ice Arena. Start time is 1:00pm. $5 to hear us and sample all the great chili.
