Got a new piano tune. Not very long, but it is kind of snappy and lively.
Title is 'Pretty Peaches'. I have some lyrics for this instrumental piece,
and will record the full song version soon as I can. This tune came about
when I sat down to play a 1901 Steinway piano that a family member had.
The piano had been sold, and I just had to try it one more time before the
piano movers arrived to take it to be restored for the new owner. Well, just
hope you do enjoy this new instrumental, even if it's just barely over 1 minute
long. I had fun coming up with this, and I think that shows here.

Hello and a Big Thanks! to all of you wonderful folks out there listening to me.
As has happened several other times, I woke up with new lyrics and a melody.
Recorded the song: 'Gegenschein'. Being a star gazer, this is a phenomenon
caused by cosmic dust reflecting back light from the Sun, as in the photo here.
Not easy to see, but I managed to view it once while camping in the mountains.
Sort of like looking for the light at the end of a dark tunnel, or searching for Hope
in difficult Times, as so many around the World are facing now. But keep looking!
And please... Keep Listening. I will look for new songs. I know they're out there...

Sometimes we just let the good things in Life just happen... Going with the Flow.
Overthinking... I do it now and then. But other times stuff just happens, comes.
Like the new song just added, 'Be a Bird'. Woke up one morning and words
started forming inside my bird brain (sorry for the pun) and soon I wrote them
down fast as they came to me. It always makes me smile to come up with a
new song or instrumental. Hope my songs make you all smile. Stay Tuned!

Who knows how many decades before humans will travel to the Stars?
One day for sure, but when nobody can say yet. But it is a Brave Dream!
Our music, radio and TV signals are already crossing the great deep void.
'I Love Lucy', the original episodes of Star Trek. The early years of many
more shows and movies... and much more are winding their way out there.
I added a new song, not played over the airwaves but on home record player.
An old LP I recorded to digital last year: my mom (aged 13) singing 'Madrid'.
If you have those old LP's or Audio Cassettes, dig them out: and Play Again!
No matter what troubles happen in this world, we will always have Music. Yes.

Hello and Thanks! again to Listeners, Subscribers and Followers. You Rock!
One of my favorite film directors said something that struck a chord with me.
Just like a song or piece of Music that hits you in your solar plexus & Heart.
He made one of my favorite films of all time: '2001: A Space Odyssey', a
science fiction film that was way ahead of its time back in 1968, and is still
an amazing experience to watch today. The final trip thru the Star Gate. Yes.
Stanley Kubrick: "However vast the darkness, we must supply our own Light!"
This quote came to me after recording a new piano tune: Lost World (Fantasy)
Hope you keep carrying the fire of your 'Inner Light' as we all make our way...

Space is Big. Really, really BIG! It boggles the Mind, as to How Big it really is.
I paraphrased a bit from: 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. Love that film.

Am very grateful for your 'Tuning In' to my music page here on N1M. Yes.
New song: 'Stay Close - The Stars' another ukulele tune I hope you like.
There is a lot of new music I enjoy (KCRW 89.9 FM in Los Angeles, CA).
Love a song/video I found online: 'Go Outside' by Ratboys (YouTube)
My biggest influence is still Neil Young. His lyrics, vocals & great guitar.
Later will re-record a song I wrote long ago that he inspired... Soon. Yes.
Just hope you can go outside, smell the ocean or a fresh breeze & Be Well.
Tune 'In' to Yourself, to Nature... and all there is. Find the melody that's there!

Sometimes a song comes like a flash of light in a dark and gray sky.
When I get lucky, I catch it in a bottle and record it to share with you.
This was the situation with piano tune 'Dance with Me', just added here.
Also was the same good luck when I came up with 'Improvisation No. 26'.
Almost like magic, a new tune or lyrics just materializes almost by itself. Yes!
Other times something just moves me to create a new song. A lemon tree in
my parent's yard was the inspiration for 'Liz's Lemons', part of a Uke medley.
The recent acoustic guitar song, 'In Flanders Fields', came after I read about
that WW1 battlefield where many young soldiers died. I wanted to honor them.

Just added a new Piano Song today. The lyrics written and this song recorded just last week: 'Keep Laughing Living Loving!' is the title. One of my most personal songs I've completed. Did you see the Solar Eclipse in North America, in person or via the Internet?
In California it was less than 50 per cent but was still amazing to see with the
proper ISO certified solar glasses. You could even see it on the ground through the leaves on a tree if you were lucky, witnessing multiple images of the eclipse.
Have recorded a new piano tune today: 'Silly Fingers!' Hope you can get out in the
Sun, or under the Moon, and sing or dance and play on. It's still a Beautiful World!
