Greetings my friends. Stephen here the day after the booming and I would like to present to you a new song that is in it's inception but worthy of your discretional ears. My song, Smitten and Resigned was penned by myself and recorded on my first published CD, Traveling at the Speed of Steve, so long ago. It has stood the test of time and my dear brother David has been playing it in Seattle with his band and when he does solo gigs. David in my older brother and an inspiration to my continued efforts musically. This version is arranged by David K. Johnson ( my brother ) and he plays the piano on it. I have paid down the vocals on it and provided some background vocals too ( The Ready for Rehab Singers ). I hope you enjoy it. This song will reincarnate itself in the future with some adjustments to make it even better. This is a work in progress like everything else we do. I wanted to share this experience with you as you have made me a believer in myself by your listening and kind words. If any of you are publishers, give me a jingle....
