Greetings everyone. I would like to first give big thanks to all of you for finding my music and thank you all for your recommendations as well. I feel blessed and humbled as to the responses I’ve gotten from all of you. This would not have happened without the prompting of a N1M (via email) member requesting that I put “I’m Alive” out there for her to add to her play list.
I followed her request, joined N1M, uploaded 3 tunes, and, well, here/hear we are. LOL.
So… The story: I wrote these songs a while back when I was in a band called Sidereal Day. We were based in Westbrook, Maine.
We managed to put 2 CD’s out with all original tunes, and we were in the final raps for our 3rd CD, when, out of the blue, our beloved Drummer Kurt passed away on July 4th unexpectedly.
We tried to move forward, but, we just couldn’t find the right replacement. It would never be the same chemistry.
We decided to disband and remain good Brothers for life. We had also previously signed a mutual contract for all of the song rights to belong to all of us. We all agreed that we all own all of the songs. Sweet and simple. These are the songs I contributed to our second CD. My band friends were the best.
Sidereal Day had some airplay between 2005-2007. We put out 2 CDs. We got airplay on a bunch of radio stations around the world via CD Baby, etc. We never hit it big though.
I’m just putting my songs out there for people to hear. If you like them, that’s awesome. If you do not. I get it.
Again. The N1M responses are blowing my speakers. Love, and so many thanks
-Steve
