Hi, Thank you for subscribing. I wanted to share a song I wrote when I was 14 years old. It has quite a story to it. My mum used to write poetry while she was studying as a mature student at Keele university. The lyrics for this song are mostly mum's poem. The poem was about my dad. A dad I don't really remember, because he left my mum when I was very young. She once told me that she cried so much when he left that when her dad died shortly afterwards, she had no tears left to mourn her dad. Mum died a year and a half ago after a lengthy battle with Parkinsons. She was a published poet before she died. I stumbled upon the sheet music I'd written for the song and decided I needed to release it. It's quite raw so I hope you enjoy it. 4 days later I'd completed a recording of the song, which has only slightly been edited from the original manuscript. I do hope you enjoy the song.
