About Steve Montgomery

Hello, I'm Steve Montgomery, and I'm the creator of many solo projects like DARKMOOD, Infinite Mindscape, SDM, Notic Reign, Shadows Fade, and Neon Aviator. I also created Portrait Black, which later became a recording metal project featuring guitarist Ryan Keane. I played drums and recorded a couple of albums in the 1990s for a band called Night Train and played drums for a metal band called Chaos Theory. In 1999 I became the lead singer for a melodic progressive metal band called Widow's Offering.
I have always been a fan of film score music and electronic synth music like Tangerine Dream, Delerium, Enigma, and more. I bought my first synthesizer in 1997, which was a Kurzweil K2000.
In 1998 I released my first electronic solo album under the name Notic Reign. I then released one more Notic Reign album before creating several other electronic projects.

Steve has composed music for many sound designers and is currently composing music for some film scoring companies.
