Now...I would Have Had A Perfectly Good Song...If my "Alter Eagle" GEEZER had not Kept Interrupting!

I mean, what do you do with a Lovable, Down-to-Earth, "Folksy"
Wise Man / Wise Guy (known by many as "Geezer"...and as my
"Alter Eagle") who loves to interject his surprising insights into
your songs...at what usually seems to be...some of the least
appropriate moments...but sometimes...it's just too "right on"
to ask 'im to tone it down...or leave! In fact, this time, I feel
like he may have really "nailed it"! Well, in a fairly audacious,
zesty, spicy sort of way!
I mean, I had this perfectly nice song called, "WHERE EVER
YOU GO"...and I thought the verses fit him "to a tee", so I let
him "do" the "spoken word" verses...upon the condition that he
let me sing the chorus. Well, he agreed, but then... he seemed
to get all excited...and interject and interrupt throughout the
chorus! Yikes! What's a singer-songwriter to do...when one
of his trusty "side-kicks" gets a bit out of hand?!
Well, if it's good...and all the indications are that bunches of my
listeners and fans feel the same way...YOU JUST GO WITH IT!
What else can you do...when it's a song called,
WHERE EVER YOU GO...GO WITH ALL YOUR HEART!
Well, you kind of really need to...
just GO WITH YOUR HEART! =blissful grin=
So that's what I did!
I hope YOU like it! I was really surprised that so many people
gave this one a "hearty"-thumbs-up! And it really does "tickle"
me down deep...to know that so many people are diggin' it!
'Specially since it's an enriching, uplifting and meaningful song!
Well, at least I think so... and a few hundred other people seem
to agree. I sure hope it "grabs" you too...like it did me the first time...
this lovable character so "rudely" interrupted my "perfectly" good chorus!
