In August 1984 Jan and Peter get to know eachother after a mutual concert. Jan played guitar in a band called Ravage and Peter was a singer in a band called Whitelight. The one gave the other and the result was that Jan ended his work with Ravage and became an new member in Whitelight in the fall the same year. The concentration of the band was melodic hardrock and their influence was among others Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Bad Company, but later also band like Whitesnake, Van Halen, Journey,Toto, Riot, Wrabit and (expired link) band did many gigs and demos (in hope of a recorddeal).
1987 Jan decided to brake up and went his own way. He wanted to try his wings with tuffer and more guitarbased hardrock. Peter stayed in Whitelight but Jan was´nt replaced. Instead the name of the band was changed to Kee Avenue. Jan established a new band called Why Not and later he also established new bands like Perfect Stranger and Dr Blue. These bands did really successful gigs and recordings in different places. In 1994 Jan stepped down from the stages, but kept on writing songs and recorded them in Cubase.
Since then he owns a Studio.
