Hi Folks We just got our second song picked up by a major Nashville Publishing firm which specializes in film, TV and ad placements. Both of these songs were re-produced by a producer from Toronto, Canada and they sound great. I got another one back from this same producer yesterday which sounds very competitive and I will be actively pitching it. He will be doing one or two others in a short order. It’s very expensive to get songs recorded so they sound as good as what you hear on the radio. That production level is the bar for entry. Publishers don’t really want to hear demos anymore as they want full fledged recordings. That is the price we pay to be in this business.
