It's hard to start listening to a song of over 15 minutes. My first thought - is the story of old Vikings. A calm voice line will lead us to the land of heroes, legendary warriors and explorers. This composition flows, no, it is better to say, flies on the waves of past centuries. An amazing impression is caused by the voice left only with a delicate clean line of guitar solo. The amount of metal progression accumulated in this song is simply unheard of. At one point, I even heard a fragment confusingly similar to Dimmu Borgir, which I like very much. An interesting impression also occurs during backing vocals with a keyboard instrument. The lonely bass with drum input suggests moving to the final part of the song. The main riff of the song reappears with accompanying backing vocals with short but perfectly composed guitar solos. A nice song. Greetings, Maciej ATRAPA

I am hearing the roots of progressive with a very alternative sound to the music. It takes you through both realms and into a winding road of travel. there is a tinge of GOTH to it as well that gives it an eerie almost haunting feel to it. I like it.

The abrupt start is strange and the vocals are too hot in the mix. Music wise the production sounds good. After the first pause in the track the vocals sound mixed better but still are the least appealing part of the performance specifically it's the low vibrato tone. Kinda sounds like old Candlemass. .

When you see the photo which illustrates the title, you know that you will be put in a cold state, something black&white...It's really that !! The duration of the title is 15:21 but not boring, there is many changes, and you can be in some doom metal parts reminding Bathory, but also some more progressives parts, even with acoustic guitars that are very cool...Voices on the ambients part can make you think about enslaved, yes, we clearly feel that the band comes from norway..If you want to listen to a smooth, ambient metal song, then listen to Strange new dawn !!!

So this song threw me for a loop. I hear type o negative elements in parts of this. There are song cool parts in hear, good dynamics. Timing issues in places tho, well maybe not issues but if you cant follow the beat I think it losing effect. The sections of ahh parts I would change personally. Add lyrics mixed with the aha's or something. Also this has many parts and if a song is going to do that I feel the parts must link really well together to make an awesome track. Again there are things in the song that are really nice. Hide your weaknesses don't expose them and most certainly play to your strengths. I give credit to you guys for holding this song together. Its pretty clear there is talent here.

Verry good high quality prog metal with a nice invasion of epic in and some classic metal riffs, the voice is solid and strong, a pro band sound that rocks, another top metal band comming from Norway, keep on rockin guys

Is great when clásic styles are projected a litle far, turning the wheel one more round. Thia is the case, when progresive music get fused with other things from clasic metal or grunge, Geting in groove, the mix put all together generating the right space for each instrument. Is like a turning road, changing rythms and give diferent perspectives of the pice.

So Prog it hurts! Reminds me of early King Crimson...and Van der Graaf Generator...meaning, i like the direction of the song. It speaks for itself. Good, solid production. Solid musicianship...i like the odd timing of the beginning. Nice work!!

Cheesus bro, You guys are all over the map with this tune! Interesting and yet a bit annoying. I like it but it is more like a Jam session where you just kind of did your own thing and hope everyone enjoys it. I'm not saying that is bad, I'm just saying it is different. Not the average but I am guessing that was your strategy! The different timing, the oddness, but hey, if it works, go for it. I'm liking the vocalist. He is really good and sounds very talented. I think you've got a combination of several good songs in this sample of your talent. I say break it up and do a CD with each of these different parts as individual songs and you'll have something AWESOME!

Its like Type O Negative went a progressive and had a love child and called it Strange New Dawn. I love the dark gothic harmonies and the doom metal heaviness. Its a great listen if you like gothic doom netal
