I am an American Male Solo Artist, Producer, Performer, Songwriter, & Musician of all original music and vocal tracks, known by my stage name "STRIVE" . My Genre in music consists of Urban R&B, Gospel / Christian, Southern Soul, Instrumentals, Acoustic Music, Contemporary Gospel, Easy Listening: Love songs, Mood Music, Blues and the Oldies. My first Album, " Back N 2 IT" was released in 2010. Second, Album, "What a Fool I Been" was released in 2011. My third, upcoming Gospel Album titled, " Stairway to Heaven"
"Strive" 2012 Second & Third Gospel Album entitled "Blessings In The Air", the Gospel Single Album "The Old Man" and my Third R&B Album" STRIVE" Love Songs.
My upcoming new releases are now available to include an Instrumental Album , Love song single, entitled "LACE" , and Gospel Single "Truly Blessed" song entitled "Heaven". I started my music career as a young child singing, playing gospel in church. Listening to my dad and grandfather made a a huge impact on my music today. When it comes to my music I thrive to touch the hearts and minds of all who listen. I create unique music and vocals. God has blessed me with many skills and the ability to be creative as a one man band. Some of my musical influences are Jimmy Hendrix, BB King, Prince, Isaac Hayes, Smokey Robinson, Barry White, Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Tyrone Davis, Prince, Willie Neal and so many more. My music is on the old school style yet with a flare.
Gospel Music is where my heart is so I will be focusing my music more in this area.
