the emotion behind the song, hence the name, came from the concept that in our lives, all sorts of things good and bad will be screaming for our attention. and like the sirens in the greek mythology, wherein if a person heard the song of the sirens they were put under a spell and couldnt do anything about it......compelled all they way to there deaths which were the sirens purpose. it was a trap. well, the song encourages the thought of focusing on the SIRENS OF MERCY. they sing out a song that will lead you to the same attraction and powerful draw, but in this one it heeds not death but life.​ Jesus's siren song plays perpetually non stop. the bible speaks of a time coming where Jesus will step off the mercy seat onto the judgement seat.
