Particular
Interesting genre. I like to heard the clean guitar riff, it has a lot of groove but seems too long, maybe expected shorter. Great sound on the distorted section but maybe could be used a warmer effect in distortion. Anyway greet!

Production is excellent...Very catchy bass line with good vocals... Could use more guitar work but still produced and recorded very well. I will definitely be looking forward to more material from this band! Well done!

Song Review
Great southern rock feel to this song... For a split second, i thought of CCR, but as soon as the vocals start the first verse, i recognize the ''Submissive Soul'' band signature... Vocals and lyrics kept my attention until the 3rd verse and chorus came around, at that point i felt a little redundancy, since i was expecting a bridge of some sort at that point... In my opinion, the loudest part of the song, the ending climax if i may say, should come in right after the second chorus, with 8 bars of guitar solo (that would act as bridge part), and while keeping that intensity, lay the actual 3rd verse and final chorus with the actual raunchy guitar and louder drums, and then have the vocals ''vamp'' until the end, like i already hear on the song, thought not as long, making it closer to 4:15 minutes... It's a great stomping feet rocking tune to listen to, i give it a 4 over 5...

Submissive Soul delivers!
Submissive Soul has the roots of their, debut, Self titled Cd, rolling with this bluesy feel and energy that is soon to have their fans wanting more! Being a drummer in a band, I look for the qualities that a band might explore in it's genre and what the band is trying speak through their music. The Vocals of David Conrad are very powerful and very understanding, setting the tone for what you are going to hear! Songs like,"Let It Go","From Hear", gives the band a very rockabilly sound and drive that sets the tone for the message they are sending. The bass lines are killer, the guitar sound has soul and purpose and the drumming is as solid as it gets! I like where they are going in their musical directions on this Cd as the only thing I thought could be better was the the overall production. It is ear catching riffs and melody, but I thought some of the music could be stronger and stand out on certain songs. They have a sound with drive and hooky songs that have caught my ear!

Original
I like the sound of original rock with a bit of gutty guitar. The drums, Bass, and vocals fit very nicely just wish there was a little clean lead in the clean parts just to challenge the bass and compliment the vocals. This song sounds like it was born out of the 70's and I miss that era of true heartfelt ROCK! I hope you have success and I will be checking back for more.

NICELY DONE, deep and great vibe!
LOVE the bass line in this, the instruments all play well together. I'd like to mix drums a little louder, the cymbals need to pop out a bit more. great quality to the voice track! a little reverb could do amazing for the vocal. a little more stereo spread to the drums would also help and I'd drop the lead guitar onto a panned mono track so it can float around as it plays out, I love music with movement in the air to the instruments so they travel as I listen, creating an entire experience, great song and work!

Singing to my soul :)
Today we will be checking out Submissive Soul's "Infusion"... You immediately get a southern blues feel when the track starts off. The rolling feel of the guitar riff starts to worm itself into your head and it becomes really hard not to feel the stripped down vibe when the guitar really starts to kick in. The singer surprisingly reminds me of the lead singer of Overkill in a way, he has the same kind of whiskey and cigarette soaked voice that really adds a cool and interesting dimension to the music. The production is crisp and compliments the overall atmosphere of the track. I guess my only real criticism would be that drums are a little subdued, I was kinda hoping that they would eschew their meanderings a little bit and punch me right in the chest in a more "Metal" kind of way, but this is me nitpicking because honestly this is a very cool track. i would highly recommend checking out more of Submissive Souls creative output, great stuff guys...You Rock!

Infusion : Review
Hi Submissive Soul, 1 / Mix and production : Good, the mix is well balanced. 2 / Music : It's very bluesy, cool. The negative point for me is the sound of distorsion guitar at the end. It's too "metal" (And I like the metal tool). It's too hard and agressive for this bluesy track. Too bad cause the solo is nice. 3 / Vocals : The sing is implicated with soul. Good 4 / Overall : Nice bluesy trac like several track of this style. Lack a chorus or a hook to make a great track. Good job, good luck.

Ccr meets Trex
It's like a blend of Credence Clearwater Revival and George Thorogood (?). But all together I really love the sound of this track. It has a great feel to it and the tone is on point. I think the vocals sat well in the track and it was an overall good mix. My only constructive criticism is that I would have compressed or layered the drums more to really make them pop. But great track.

classic type hard rock/blues 'infusion.' swells and delay (slapback) are nice. slight vocal pans are subtle and light, they don't take away from the main track. was expecting this to maybe pick up a bit sooner with the dynamic punch, 3:23 seems a bit late in the song, but when it does kick in it's got a very fuzzy, groovy tone. it's too bad sons of anarchy is over, this would have been a great track to see bikers racing and beating the piss out of some chumps to.

Blues, the forgotten art? or present in everything you will ever hear.
I am not a Country guy, modern main stream "country" that is. I love bands today like LUCERO, ALCOA AND DRAG THE RIVER, all featuring punk rockers turned alt country. Great Indie music, period. I grew up listening to great guitarist and bands in my early rock/metal mix life like, of course, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani(could be throw in there in a weird way) AC/DC and the great Jonny Cash and Lynyrd Skynard. This song was able to briefly take me back to those, discovering Blues days, in only 8 bars and I don't listen to those bands much anymore unfortunately. Simply put, Just a flat out, good Blues Rock and Roll tune all around, good music for the soul. After a second listen I wonder if their harder stuff sounds a little more like DOWN or SuperSuckers…? Cool Song, featuring obvious talent.

Sounds really good. The vocals are full of emotion and expressive. The bass is a good leader trough the song. Mix-Mastering is glassclear. The guitar-solo is cream for my ears, really super. I like the song very much, this kind of music. No reason to write bad things. Great job!

Excellent!!
Right away i'm struck by the timelessness of this song...if you pay less attention to the " modern " production, and focus on the spirit of the song itself, it could have been lifted right out of any decade, but at it's heart it's down home. You don't hear this kind of songwriting anymore...even the greats who gave us this kind of soulful delivery and who've captivated us with their monumental songs don't write like this anymore. This is commercially sound, on many levels...radio/video friendly, soundtrack options, lots of room to expand and publicize it due to it's nature. 10 stars!

Soulful...
I find the song to be very soulful and groovy. Dug the guitar feel reminded me of some really cool bluesy material that resonates through the heart and soul of one's being. I felt that the voice fit perfectly with the style as well and could totally see this band in a roll have a movie as a background band. I really liked this tune and the vibe it had going on as well. Cool stuff keep it going guys would like to hear more later!

Meh
I really don't have much to say about this. There isn't much going on musically, and I couldn't make out the lyrics, It sounds more like a minimalistic musical backing for a speech rather than an actual song, sort of like the sort of thing that Arlo Guthrie did. But again, I couldn't make out any of the lyrics, so what's the point?
