Kicks Ass!

Wow, from the opening and the singing kicking in...this song a band are on the money. There's a hint of Blues and Southern Rock, but also very new and up to date. I can't say enough about the over all sound. What a KICK ASS BAND! All instruments are tight. Keep rocking! Great song and sound. Almost a slight hint of Alice in Chains, and that is so cool. Good!

Hard rock songs quite good recorded and produced! Nice work on guitars and vocals , maybe drum is a little bit closed and no much bright , but everythings sounds good. About the genre reminds me something like Poison. Greetings from Italy!

The same but unique

The perfect song for me to listen at 6:30 AM in the morning. I like the the vibe it transmits. The sound is clear and crisp and the guitar riffs guide you through the song together with the voice. They make a perfect duet. Good song! Don't let yourself fooled by the minor tones and chords in the song, it is not sadness that they are bringing into your ears, but a good mood.

Damn

Ya'll are going somewhere. I loved it. Very unique. Reminded me of an old school rock with a new touch. Very smooth, and I felt not only the lyrics, but the band too. Nice wuality. I would listen to this personally. Nicely done, Whitehawk-TheBeatMasta

Nice Song

I want to start this off by saying I really enjoyed the music and the structure. I think the intro was a nice start to the song. The lead guitar was fun to hear and had had a sweet tone. In regards to the vocals I really like them. I like the balance between the softer sounding vocs and the more tougher aggressive sound as well. The song overall was great to listen to and truly enjoyed it.

Your Song "same"

Starting off with a very nice intro with the band coming in smashing sort of reminding me of maybe Candle Box vs 3 Doors Down. Super cool vocals with a great story line and the Band complementing all the way from Drum beats to Bass to a very nice WaaWaa lead. This is a great song and to bring back the roots of Rock and Roll. I can tell you guy's poured your Submissive Soul into your writing. Write On~~~

Excellent tune

I have to admit I was surprised at your similarity to the band Nirvana by your style and dynamics. You have a nice tight sound and do a great job implementibg dynamics with your emphasis on volume at critical points in your song. Keep up the good work and I wish you a lot of success in the future !!!!

Cool Vibe... wish it didn't stay the "Same".

The intro is kinda Creed sounding. The singer has an interesting voice. I like that rough edge with the trained vibrato. Almost reminds me of John Carabi (The Motley Crue singer for one record) and that's not a bad thing! The guitar solo was good even if the wah pedal approach is dreadfully overused. Ok... it's clear now that the brightest spot in this band is the passion that the singer delivers. The music itself is pretty bland. While I like the mood that this creates, the riffs are tired by the end of the song. If there was bass on this recording, I didn't hear it. This song could have used a good unique bass line to break up the monotony of the guitar. The vibe is there, but the hooks are not quite memorable. As far as the arrangement, this song could have cut the third verse, or at least shortened it. By the time you get there, it's just repeating itself. Maybe you could have modulated the last chorus, or changed up the melody a little here to build a final dynamic. Just a thought. Anyway, keep working. You have a cool vibe, just needs some tweaking musically.

Song review

This song being a big rock ballad in my opinion, it's faithful to Submissive Soul's style... Some vibes in there remind me of GNR and Lynyrd... Vocals are very effective so is the guitar work (multiple layers and the lead part), bass and drums are supportive to the song... As for the recording quality, it could be upgraded in many points, but maybe this song was recorded as a demo more than a definite studio endeavor, It shows in the drum sound recording approach even if the drumming is solid... Submissive Soul will continue to impress me with their band signature way of songwriting, Rock on...

Reviewed As Requested.

Who says the can't rock in Ol' Miss? The first thing that grabbed me was the medium tempo and the crystal clear clean guitar full of tone and harmonics. Then the vocalist come in and I know this isn't going to be the average fair on N1M. This guy has got guts and feelings in his voice and it is unique. Although it still can use some tweaking on the mix to sound glued together, it still pretty listenable and grabs you and makes you hang around from the beginning to the end. It makes me want to stick around and see what's next from Submissive Soul. So guys, what else do you have in your little bag of goodies?

Nice!

Excellent production. Good layering of instruments, good mix. Sick vocals...lyrics are fitting. The vocals are in the vein of classic rock, well done. This could pass for any of the classic bands heard on any classic rock radio station. Well done!
