What a beautiful song. It’s very relaxing and it’s very soothing. You put me in the mind of Brian McKnight which is my favorite artist of all time. Keep delivering great music like this. This song has some really good aspects. It is well recorded, the lyrics are enjoyable but the vocals are not brilliant. It is so important to have good vocals in a song as it either kills it or makes it, even though the lyrics are good alot depends on the vocals. SoniQ November Love
SoniQ "November Love" Has SoniQ written the next big hit for Maria Carey to cover maybe but the song is fairly good on it's own but I would think a major label would want to up the production a bit more before replicating a million copies.One thing that is questionable is does the voice go slightly out on the high notes? Most of today's artist would probably run this through auto tune software to see if it changed anything. I myself have never used auto tune. I have however re-recorded tracks. And the other thing I have sometimes done for tracks when I'm singing high has been what I call a reference track. So rather than guess the high note in order to make sure it is completely right I record a keyboard part with the high notes and sing to those. I may or may not keep that keyboard part for the song. If I was a record company I would also make sure the voice was keeping in shape with Seth Rigg's singing for the stars and add a touch of reverb to the vox.
