Born in Chico Ca and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and filmmaking. By a chance meeting with guitarist, songwriter R.E. King they began writing songs and performing as a duo. Drummer Guy Menking longtime friend of Justin (R.E. King nickname another story) heard the music and wanted to form a band and brought in his brother, Eric 'Bird' Menking on bass and Surrender The Pink was born. This was 2007 and the band has since drifted apart but the music remains. Enjoy.

Hello everyone I hope that each and everyone of you out there in the world are staying safe and healthy too. We are all hanging in here doing like each and every one of you are doing. But stay strong and just try to keep the faith that life will return to normal again. Expect new music soon.

Read moreSorry for the long delay. Please forgive me for responding, but I guess I didn't really think anyone was listening or cared. When we post these songs we had hoped to reach people who would love our music. But since we put these up a few years ago the band has parted ways we are all still friends and play together sometimes on projects here in LA. But keep listening and who knows what the future holds.
