Born in Chico Ca and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and filmmaking. By a chance meeting with guitarist, songwriter R.E. King they began writing songs and performing as a duo. Drummer Guy Menking longtime friend of Justin (R.E. King nickname another story) heard the music and wanted to form a band and brought in his brother, Eric 'Bird' Menking on bass and Surrender The Pink was born. This was 2007 and the band has since drifted apart but the music remains. Enjoy.
