A nice bit of dancefloor dnb with a ravey edge and a sweet female vocal, the drums sound fresh with a subtle bassline to lead you through to a lovely breakdown, this will suite a wide range of drum and bass heads ... DM

Liquid roller

A nice laid-back roller, with plentiful percussion and snappy, tight sample work. The vocals have been well-recorded and in my opinion would benefit from having a stronger side-chain effects configuration. The guitar hooks are catchy, especially like the section between 4 and 5 minutes, drones/pads suit the track nicely...but there are sections where they seem to pull your ear in 2 different directions (not necessarily in a good way). The drum loops fit the track mood, the fills work well. I would simplify the instrumentation where you introduce the vocalist, shift into following section where vocals become a little repetitive, rather than whole sung sections that you initially used. Hope this helps!

Move It On...

Moving On UP! ... this composition lifts me up! Stimulates new vibrations in the body, mind and spirit. A bit of an echo of Tribal Dance & Worship. Song of Light to Awaken The People to Get up, Get Going! It is a time of great awakening of the Spirits of The People. Tarqa is a new sound for a new age of enlightenment among the people. It touches the heart with it's eclectic alternative beat. If this is anything to go by, you will be ascending to an enviable position of few bands who make a name for themselves worldwide. Let us know when you are on tour in the UK!

moving on

Illusionariy Generation is alive but may hier are follows some influences Du bist gestorben und weißt es nicht, Erloschen ist dein Augenlicht, Erblichen ist dein rotes Mündchen, Und du bist tot, mein totes Kindchen.

Gets you moving

Good vibes and funky rhythms with light and shade combined with a mixed pace. Soubdtrack is catchy with hooky licks and vocals. Got me dancing - could easily see this doing well in the clubs

A Review of ‘Move It On Radio Edit’—‘Tarqa’.

The original atmosphere of the song ‘Move It On Radio Edit’ is relaxing, although the new additional drum beats commencing at 01:09 and lasting up to 04:07 have dramatically changed the primary feel of this tune to a less authentic mood. There are not sufficient music materials at a standard level which then resulted in monotonous repetitive lines. Perhaps, instead of the unmatched additional drumming from 01:09, adding more various musical ideas that match with the original relaxing mode of the song could increase the number of rating stars!

Hi Tarqa Here is My Review

Hi this is my review as far as the song and the beat you did a great job the vocals are nice however I feel it would have been even better if the lead singer lead vocals were done a little better as in a little more upfront I could not hear them as well as the music other then that great job I hope my review will help you in some way from J.Milligan New Experience Records/Rick Ross Music Group/UMG.

90s feel

Nice female vocals the music is bright and sharp the drums take interesting patterns on the drum program. A little more story line would be nice but overall fun dancing music keep it up.

Moving

As a dance song this is a pretty good song except for a couple things the mix suffers from an imbalance between the vocals and the drums the drums are drowning out the higher tones of the female vocals basically the symbols and need to be put in a special space to distinguish the two parts it also needs to have some instruments on the lower frequency of the sound waves to help balance out the mix some piano or keyboards maybe an acoustic guitar the arrangement is a little redundant but most dance songs are and I wouldn't worry about that part or aspect of the song as much as the eye would the mix.

Move It On

A nice refreshing old school mix. A great tune for the summer of 2017. I usually prefer female vocal for most energy building dance songs. Not much to say about this tune. It pulls you in and you catch the vibe.As I am always dreaming of the remix of a song and the audio engineering. I would deepen some of the effect samples and sub out the bass more. I am a Bass addict. I always want more. My look at it is for DnB genre songs, the drum and bass should be brought forward and exaggerated. There is nice vocals in Move It On and it almost has a live feel to it. This song is an easy song to recommend, Very nice work.

Tarqa - Move It On

Decent Liquid DnB vibes on this track, soulful vocals and well constructed. would sound good in a Dj set played out live or on radio. Tempo and bassline keep the track moving. Drum work could be tighter.

Great all around recording, very emotive and quality recorded, Love the breakbeats, the vocals and the uprising attitude Liked the reggae vibe to start with and the build ups make me want to work out to this jam, can't wait to hear more, excellent jam!

"Movie it on"...to that Kiwi Reggae beat

I got a request to review this song by the folks from Tarqa. So, I punched up the file to have a listen and found a pulsating reggae beat with a cutting edge single coil pickup electric guitar keeping the rhythm as surreal female vocals started weaving a tapestry of eclectic sounds before my ears. As the song progressed other sounds flew in and out of the complex mix of traditional and electronic instruments all the while the drone of the winsome ladies kept up the hypnotic mantra, "Move it on". I felt like I was in a trance listening to the primal beat undulating, pulsating, pulling me in deeper and deeper to the sound. Time and space became irrelevant...an abstraction. Merely a figment of my imagination. Then before I knew it, it began to fade...and it was gone. Just like that!

In The Mood

This stuff puts you in the mood. It's some late 70s sound, like the Blondie song on American Gigolo. If you're going to work on a clear sunny day, especially if you don't like your work, then this is the song you need to cheer you up. Good :-)
