The 4 man band from Boston, Barcelona and Basel with heavy grooves and riffs carry the Album’s title on their shoulders. The combination of hard rap heavyweight KAOTIC CONCRETE and the sometimes melancholic singing of HIDBER engages the band into a lightfooted Ali Shuffle. TAY/SON doesn’t shy away from blending styles together, both music and lyrics combine versatility and confidence. Titles such as “Rivers Of You” and “1000 Suns” take a closer look on society and show vulnerability with their guard down in songs like “Floating my Beaches”.

TAY/SON’s prowess consisting of energetic guitar-riffs, rap parts, synth sounds and scratches, reminds music goers of the non forgotten crossover-movement of the 90ties. Where rap groups like Ice-T, Cypress Hill and Boo-Yaa (expired link). collaboarated with Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Bands like Slayer, Pearl Jam and Faith No More, just to name a few, on records like Judgement night.

The Producer of that record Roli Mosimann also mixed TAY/SON’s “Slave To Gravity” Album, combining elements with experience during the collective live sessions in the Studio. The music’s direction clearly indicates a “bare knuckle” contest/punchfest feeling. Speaking of which, TAY/SON also performed at the Grand Casino boxing Event in Basel.
