One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song from a local artist in LA - it's fun to hear talent that comes across so clearly. A throwback to a 70's R&B sexy soulful ballad - perhaps a little Al Green or Teddy Pendergrass. Really a charming effort that would be best played on a candlelit night on, perhaps, Valentines Day. I'm a new fan! Thank you Ted!

When I initially listened to this song it automatically took me back to old school RnB which I grew up on. The song tonight has great lyrical content and arrangement. The lead Vocalist embodied this song at its best and presented it very well in this creative peice of work. The music was produced perfectly to fit the song in every aspect. The choice of instruments really made this song stand out to me. The mix was very good on this record , the intricate details and the lead Vocalist was sat perfectly in the mix. There is definitely an audience for this style of music. However, due to music evolving and changing in some cases to the point of it losing the powerful message that it should have. This song was refreshing to hear and should do extremely well in the music industry.

Hello Ted, I really liked your song, it has a very pleasant flow. I really like the sound of the keyboard and the strings, good job. The voices of the choir are great, it reminded me of boyz 2 men, that they had very beautiful harmonizations, good vocal play. I think the song gains strength every time the choral voices play comes in. It has a lot of that rn & b ballad from the 90s, it makes me transport back to those years, where melody was very important, where there was a balance between rhythm and melody harmony. You asked if this is a hit record. Yes. It's old world classic R&B. BUT, I think you should go through and correct some of the sharp and flat notes in the lead vocal. DON'T DO THE WHOLE VOCAL OVER!!! Just fix the parts that need to be fixed. LOVE, the background vocals. Well crafted!

Lead vocal needs to be much moore thoroughly worked out. Play every single phraze on piano and study exactely how the notes should be phrazed an intonated. The song is difficult to understand how it´s stuctured. You are in to much of a hurry to wail rather than writing and performing a good song. But you have worked a lot with this one and that is good. Work 5 times more with details and song structure and it can develope. Your voice isn´t bad the ideas arn´t bad even if I like alternative stuff more. It´s all about order and details. be careful with digital synthsounds use preferably some acoustic instruments since the art of intonation and perfect vocaldistribution is something else that digital sounds. Its very far from a hit-song I´m afraid.

I enjoyed "Tonight" The instrumentation put me in a chill mode. It like listening to the Whispers or some old school grooves. I feel like this track definitely has the potential to be a hit. So this songs pop ups in my re view list and Ted E Fame and Fortue is asking "do you think this song is a hit record" So tonight was rejected in the early eighties by all the big A and R in New York doing their business in the local strip club. "Sorry Ted we can't make you as big as phil he's already got Tonight three times in his song. so years later it comes to me at the smallest but barely surviving record label evolution 4005 and I lean back with my big cigar and think well sure and here's how to do it. Te background vocals sound mostly good except for the first one but what would make these come up to another level is if someone else was doing them. Next we need a little tiny pop guitar solo and then a little change to the lyrics kind of like tonight i need to win it big time tonight roll the dice and then some background vocals. Fast forward 2021 the recording comes up a notch we send our song to all the casinos in Atlantic city or the people who are doing the. People in the casinos go wild then Ted E and his band gets a residential stay and the rest is party time history.

Liked the tunes from the start. Nice ballad with a good feel. Professional studio recording with great accompanying piano in the backing forcing the music on a higher level. This arrangement characterizes smooth keyboard generated sounds creating a wide range space. Ted E. Fame has a dynamic voice and unique vocal projection. The romantic passionate lyrics expressing deep feelings come from the heart and touching the soul. Wonderful chorus-line is an extra factor and brings additional beauty into the song. Perfect mixed and mastered in appropriation of a fresh compostion style creates exceptional sounding music. This song could be a radio hit. Just listen and I´m sure you will like to add it.

The good , and the not as good ,Is this a hit you ask.....it another era yes, today maybe...... this not to potential isn't there. This a good song ( yes only good ) the group ultimately is far better than the song. now here is the real deal, guys. I am from philly ,i am a producer , and am best buds with the guy who wrote sideshow , and love won't let me wait. I mention sideshow because the group , and the total feel feel of this song is blue magic , and the second half drift to the blues ala teddy...... so first because I do know all these guys and well been there i'm partial to that sound.You fellas do need a little work some of the background was a little uneven , but on the other hand , the background was unbelievably spectacular..... i want more of that.... the lead singer , and if there was two are perfect for this sound you got mills and pendergast down . but not a copy ....good job. a lot of the was interesting good build up .... but i would start the song off hot ..ala the outro , and then bring in the softer element like you have it now ...rearranging the tune for more dynamic contrast will bring it over the top , probably modernize it more , which then would translate into a hit today......as a group work your background a little softer in places , but feature that unbelievable harmony you do way more , that could be your money .....good luck , hope i was helpful.
