New Orleans West advocate, Teejay Foy was first introduces to a stage at the young age of 4. Talent shows and acting auditions prepared a young Foy to pursue music professionally at only (expired link) up in the slums of Marrero, better known as "The Concrete Jungle", there wasn't a lot of positive influences to look up to, Mainly drugs and violence. Negativity is always easy to succumb to , especially if it's exposed in every direction you look towards; Foy learned to channel energy into creating music. He began speaking about the change he wanted to see in his (expired link) Foy has been making music for over 13 years , he's only released 4 projects to date. These projects have all been followed by a great deal of live performances; These performances span from his home town of New Orleans, Louisiana as far east as New York , Chicago and St. Louis to name a few . Foy also played SXSW Music festival and A3C Music festivals , which are 2 of the biggest Hip-Hop Festivals thrown in the states. Foy is currently working on "A Letter to Jay-Z" which isa very important project giving thanks and respect to Foy's favorite artist.
