About Teemu Vehkala
Teemu "Teemujazz" Vehkala (b. July 31, 1981 Helsinki, Finland) is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, arranger (piano, keyboards, drums, bass, guitar, vocals etc...).
He started to play piano by ear at age 5 and started to play drums at age 8.
But in his teenage years the musical turning point was one jazz record by Jukka Linkola's "Tentet album" and Perko Pyysalo Poppoo "The Garden of Time" album, which changed the course to modal music.
