The concept: it is born from the millennial art and mysticism of different native cultures of the American continent, thus it delivers a magic celebration, feisty and ceremonial using with knowledge, due respect, sensibility and commitment, artistic resources and ritual symbolism of Toltecs, Aztecs, Mayas, Olmecs, Wixaritari, Incas, Lacotas, Shipibos, Dineh and other shamanic cultures from the American Continent.
The proposal: it may be classified as World Indigo in which musical concept it’s based in 13 ritual chants orchestrated by an incredible array of sound artifacts and native musical instruments from different ethnic cultures supported by discrete digital sequences, loops, ambient and sounds. Each chant is dramatized with choreography, proper outfits and ceremonial plenty in symbolisms of self-healing and cosmic connections. As well, the entire performance is supported by digital images and handcrafted scenography. And so, rhythms, melodies, intentions, images, choreographies and rituals, all interweave in a great flow of beauty to take as all in unity with participants, into spaces, passages, and feelings of elemental qualities: earth, water, air, fire… all in a cosmic flight inspiring movement, meditation, reflection, pleasure, joy, prayers and collective gratitude. There are chants, dances, prayers and invocations to connect and honor Mother Earth, Father Sun, the cosmos, the elements and the 7 directions, unity of hearts, love, balance, the sacred cultures and universal harmony.
The Instruments: Voices, drums, flutes, ocarinas, whistles, buzzers, rattles, native trumpets, scratchers, shakers, percussions, a variety of pods, seeds, stone-marimbas, woods, metals, digital sounds and plenty more of very unique musical instruments and sound artifacts.
