Right, so, the new album is finally out. I just thought I'd write a little about why i did it, why those tunes and why now. Now I'm presuming that all of my friends know that Tek Groova is me John Davies. I started rebuilding my studio after my wife's operations and she encouraged me to do so and I started making music because a valued friend told me that, life is too short. Plus, I really needed some new music for the car, as it takes me an hour to drive to work and back every weekday. After buying a few synths, I realised that I had spent most of my life helping others make their music, that I had never really spent time on my music and even what styles of music to make. So plesse don't be disappointed that this first album isn't wall-to-wall techno, even though there are two techno tracks on it. I needed to prove to myself that I can do versions of most of the styles of music I've been into over the years. So please keep an open mind for me Notts guys. I've already started another album and I'm hoping that I'll rest on at least two styles. Anyway, I hope you all will join me on my musical journey even though we all live far and wide.
