Ten or TEN is an experiment/ambient band from Leeds and London England which is led by musician Dominic Deane. Ten had his gigging debut in June 2009 at the City Screen in York. Ten’s sound combines electronic keys, shoegaze noise and percussion with the acoustic sounds of glockenspiel and a string quartet to create a beautiful sound-scape that moves from slow, eerie and melancholic to pulsating and optimistic.

Ten have toured extensively around the UK, Europe and the United States, having performed with Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai, Vessels, The Declining Winter and Codes in the Clouds. With a revolving cast of guest musicians Ten’s current live band is Dominic Deane & Jonny fryer.
Ten released there first record ‘Journeys’ which was recorded at York University with a live string quartet in June 2009. This first release was well received by both local and national press. The album was released on digital and CD formats notably on North East label ‘Cathedral Transmissions’ and ‘Owls’ Label based in Perth, Australia
In April 2010 a spilt EP with American band ‘Finneyerkes’ was released with some of the tracks featuring from the ‘Journeys’ record and released by Manchester label 'Heat Death Records'.
On the 18th of October 2010 ‘Ten’ released a new six track EP entitled ‘Lowlands\
